Cracked face

DSC_0672.JPG
DSC_0290 copy.jpg

1.)The hardest altered image to create was the cracked face. I had hard time with the warp and liquify tools. We had to follow all the steps on the video and it got complex at times. It also had the most steps and was also something i had never learned. After my second shot of the cracked face i had improved but was still a bit of a difficulty.

2.)The easiest to create was cyanotype. That was the easiest because it had little steps. It was very blunt and easy to do.It was very easy to make that ghostly effect. It was the less time consuming as well, since had known what i was doing.

3.)Altered portrait to a viewer is  an image with style well to a photographer it has so much more meaning. To a photographer it is a modified image where you change the color, style, size, or modify. Photographers tend to go into a lot more depth than a viewer and explore all aspects of an altered portrait.

4.)Out of all the altered images i would create the collage again. I would do it again because i brought out all my creativity. It was a bunch of things i have learned combined. It was creative and had variety of different backgrounds. Not only was it easy but it was fun to make.

5.)A historical significant behind the collage overly was Robert Heinecken. He was an artist that used visuals on the Vietnam war in 1960-1970. He made it show different perspectives between the two different images.

6.)It is important to learn altered images because you add your own vibrance and your own depth of color and edit how you would want. Without an altered image  you have a plain image and have no point in having the edit as your own.

7.)Yes all photos should be altered because you get to have your own editing style. You get to choose how you want your images and plays a huge role and purpose of photoshop.  But not all of them have to be altered if you like the original image but it is highly suggested.

8.) By altering a portrait you change the appearance of the whole photo. You can change color, size, and edit parts of it. You can add different shades and add detail to make the image your own.

In photo 1 I had learned all of the basics of photography. This was basically where I learned how to even use a camera and even took pictures with the camera for the first time ever. I also had learned the different poses you can have people do and not only that but I had learned different views you can take your pictures at. I had learned a lot about cameras and how to take really good photos in photo 1 and it had benefitted me a lot now and made me the photographer that I am today. Ever since last year there is a huge difference in my photos and are a lot more creative.

Ever since last year my whole perspective of photography has completely changed. I had got a lot better at taking pictures and I dont need help as much as i needed before because i learned overtime in this class. I definitely get a lot better pictures now than I have in the past. I grew better and more fond on how to take better images with the techniques the teacher has showed us. Now that i am better I look at the different perspectives and how i could transform something completely normal to something creative and cool. As you can see, Over the past year I grew more fond of photography.
